Description

The Coutellerie d’Art Forge de Laguiole collection brings together the rarest and most remarkable pieces crafted in our Laguiole workshops. Each Laguiole knife is created as a unique piece, reflecting the exceptional expertise of Forge de Laguiole, passed down and refined since 1987. These are true high-end fine cutlery creations, designed for discerning enthusiasts and collectors of prestigious knives.

Stéphane Rambaud, a renowned master cutler, was born in 1968 in Lyon. Trained at the prestigious École de Coutellerie de Nogent, he was awarded the Gold Medal for Meilleur Apprenti de France in 1987, an emblematic distinction of French excellence in cutlery.
He joined Forge de Laguiole in the summer of 2005, where he designs exceptional Laguiole folding knives, shaped by his inspiration or created to order, in full respect of Laguiole traditions and codes.

Each knife in the Coutellerie d’Art Forge de Laguiole collection is entirely handcrafted in our workshops, ensuring a unique piece with a strong character and exceptionally precise finishes.

This exceptional Laguiole knife is a one-piece model featuring a handle made from red mammoth molar, a rare material with a striking appearance. It is distinguished by elegant guillochage, finely executed and harmoniously extended along the blade.
The stainless twist Damascus blade offers remarkable cutting performance, while the bone inlay enhances the overall aesthetic. A sculpted bee and a finely worked spring complete this Laguiole folding knife, presented in a polished finish that highlights its noble character and unique identity.
