The bee and the spring are entirely forged and hand-chiselled using files and burins, following gestures passed down from generation to generation, making each piece a unique object. Since its creation, Forge de Laguiole has been part of a living cutlery tradition, open to creation and contemporary design. The manufacture chose early on to collaborate with renowned designers and creators, to reinterpret the Laguiole knife while respecting its iconic lines and historical identity.
