Description

The Forge de Laguiole Art Cutlery collection brings together the most remarkable and rarest pieces crafted in our Laguiole workshops. These exceptional knives, created as unique pieces, embody the full extent of the know-how, passed down and perfected since 1987. True works of fine cutlery, they are designed for enthusiasts and collectors of high-end knives.

Stéphane Rambaud, a renowned master cutler, was born in 1968 in Lyon. He trained at the prestigious Nogent School of Cutlery, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Apprentice of France in 1987, a distinction symbolizing excellence in French craftsmanship.
He joined Forge de Laguiole in the summer of 2005, where he creates exceptional Laguiole knives, shaped by inspiration or made to special order, while respecting the finest cutlery traditions. Each knife in the Forge de Laguiole Art Cutlery collection is entirely handcrafted in our workshops, ensuring a unique piece with a distinctive character and flawless finishing.

This exceptional Laguiole knife is an 11 cm model, featuring a mother-of-pearl handle, a precious material with subtle iridescent reflections.
It stands out with a finely crafted four-leaf clover, replacing the traditional bee and symbolizing rarity and good fortune.

The satin-finished stainless steel liners, combined with a leaf-shaped guilloché pattern, add elegance and refinement. The polished spring and blade highlight the quality of the finishes, while the satin-finished stainless steel bolster and the ebony inlay complete the design of this high-end Laguiole folding knife, a subtle balance between tradition and contemporary creativity.
