The Forge de Laguiole designer knife has been created for the Soulages museum in Rodez in Aveyron.

The 2014 collection of Laguiole knives includes a wide variety of great knives made in France. The highlight of this collection is the Bras/Soulages, a knife designed by André Bras, brother of famed restaurateur Michel Bras and La Forge de Laguiole for the “Café Bras” restaurant at the Soulages Museum.
This dishwasher-friendly Laguiole knife is an ode to both gastronomy and to the art of painting. It is an exclusive knife whose shape is subtly similar to that of a paint brush.
It is distinguished by its dark dense wooden handle and offers a beautiful contrast with the light straight yatagan stainless steel blade.
