Stéphane Rambaud, a renowned master cutler, was born in 1968 in Lyon. He trained at the prestigious Nogent School of Cutlery, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Apprentice of France in 1987, a distinction that symbolizes the excellence of French craftsmanship.
He joined Forge de Laguiole in the summer of 2005, where he designs and creates exceptional Laguiole knives, guided by his inspiration or crafted to bespoke order, always respecting traditional cutlery techniques.
Each knife in the Forge de Laguiole Art Cutlery collection is entirely handcrafted, ensuring a unique piece with a distinctive character and flawless finishing.
This exceptional Laguiole folding knife is a one-piece model, featuring a juniper wood handle with a noble and warm feel.
It stands out with a finely crafted lion head, symbolizing power and character, replacing the traditional bee. The double brass and guilloché stainless steel liners, along with the bolsters, spring, and satin-finished blade, highlight the elegance and quality of this artisanal knife — a perfect blend of cutlery tradition and contemporary creativity.
