The original Forge de Laguiole® salt mill, made from real cow horn from the Aubrac region, ideally complements our pepper mill on your dinner table.
Each model has a beech wood to hold the grinding mechanism. The base is covered with grey Aubrac cowhide (black for pepper).
We recommend the use of a dry coarse salt for this mill, not a wet salt such as fleur de sel or grey salt where the humidity level could damage the mill.
As the horns are of natural origin, their appearance (color, size, shape) may vary from one object to another; therefore, the mills shown are not binding in this respect.
The Forge de Laguiole salt mill, which you can buy in our online shop, will be the perfect accessory to serve your precious salt on your dinner table.
